Things I Wish I Liked More

Cloud Nothings, Here and Nowhere Else

Carpark
Indie/noise rock

Wowed me for a week or so then sorta faded out, unfortunately. Still rock with it now and again, though.

Buckcherry, Fuck

Atlantic
Rock n' roll/bro rock/gettin' fucked

“Buckcherry will return this summer with one of their boldest and most controversial releases to date, FUCK; a six-song EP that unapologetically rattles the speakers as much as it will the censors. The record features six balls-to-the-wall tracks that erupt with gritty riffs and sharp-tongued lyrics, including the upcoming radio single and riotous cover of Icona Pop’s hit song 'I Love It,' which the band naturally cranks to 11 and renames 'Say Fuck It.'”

Riff Raff, Neon Icon

Mad Decent
White boi hip hop/rap rock

If Kid Rock was fun.

Tigers Jaw, Charmer

Run For Cover
Indie/emo/sophomore year

Entirely in love with everything Tigers Jaw has done up until the album. Losing half the band really made their sound sadly underwhelming. Still, this is worth an occasional listen here and there.

The Menzingers, Rented World

Epitaph
Punk/orgcore

The Menzingers are one of those bands I like only because it reminds me of my college friends because they literally all love the shit out of them. But this album sounds weirdly like Anberlin. “Rodent” is the only good song.

G-Unit ft. 50 Cent, 50 Cent is the Future

LISTEN

Bootleg Tapes
Hip-hop/an elaborate joke?/what is going on

I don't know what the deal is with this album! It's got hilarious album art (which is actually the same as the original 50 Cent mixtape) and is released by a hella good label but it's just various 50 Cent songs (which I think are off the original mixtape??). Is that the joke? Is that the art? THE INTERNET ISN'T GIVING ME ANSWERS.

Run the Jewels, Run the Jewels 2

Mass Appeal
Hip-hop/masculinity

Against Me!, Transgender Dysphoria Blues

Xtra Mile
Punk rock/inspirational

Pink Floyd, The Endless River

Parlophone
Prog rock/dad rock/keyboards

Neil Young, Storytone

Reprise
Classic rock/inoffensive classical music

Mac Demarco, Salad Days

Captured Tracks
Indie/jangle pop/Tumblr
